Lisbon is surrounded by history and has plenty of historical places to visit but you'll probably won't have enough time to see them all so, we present to you our choices of monuments to visit and we can assure that they won’t let you down!


Pena Palace
Being one of the 7 wonders of Portugal , Pena Palace stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains above the town of Sintra with a wonderful view. Is one of Lisbon's most beautiful Palaces. Was built in the 12th century as a convent but as time went by the convent was turned in to a palace (1854).

It’s a piece of Portuguese history that you don’t want to miss!


Castelo de São Jorge

São Jorge Castle is a national monument occupying a commanding hilltop overlooking the historic center of the Portuguese city of Lisbon and Tagus River. This fortification was built by the Muslims in the middle of the 11th century and in it stands a big piece of history.


Palácio de Mafra

Palace of Mafra is located in Mafra and its construction began in 1717 and was completely concluded in 1755. The palace was classified as a National Monument in 1910, and was also one of the finalists of the Seven Wonders of Portugal.

This is a monument that we can call a piece of art work due to its diversification of art, architecture, sculpture, painting, music, books and textile. If you choose to go there it’ll be a well spent afternoon.


Mosteiro dos Jerónimos
The Jerónimos Monastery is a former monastery of the Order of Saint Jerome near the Tagus River in the parish of Belém, in Lisbon. The monastery symbolizes the Portuguese Age of Discovery and is among the main tourist attractions of Lisbon and it’s a perfect place to spend a Romantic evening.


Torre de Belém 
Located in the civil parish of Santa Maria de Belém in the municipality of Lisbon, Belém Tower is one the most important monuments of Portugal because of the meaning that had to our history and to the era of the discoveries. It's also one of the 7 wonders of Portugal and it has a beautiful view over the Tagus River.

If the decoration and the food weren't enough to make this space as cool as it is, it is actualy part of Palácio Estoril Hotel's spa, Banyan Tree Spa. Yes, you read it well. James's Bond hotel in "On Her Majesty’s Secret Service". Thats right, Palácio Estoril Hotel was background to the the sixth film of the James Bond saga and it is said to be the inspiration for the creation of the James Bond character itself, as the author Ian Fleming stayed at the hotel during the Second World War, a time where Estoril was know to harbor a lot of spies. However, lets put the guns and the gadgets down and talk about what we came here to talk about- Organic Caffe. The food: gluten and dairy free meals, organic and free from, hormones, antibiotics and processed/engineered products and entirely designed by a naturopath. Before we start I must tell you that there is no good word to translate Miradouro. What we call a Miradouro is a place where you have an amazing view, where you can chill and watch the perfect sunrise, admit it, you were thinking about the sunset. Well, that too!



Parque Eduardo VII 


The perfect selfie spot- here you'll have the whole downtown as your background! And if you're looking for a place to start your Lisbon conquest, this is it!




Miradouro da Graça

A perfect place to end your day with a cold one on the table. This view point is right next to the castle and offers a great mix of locals and tourists.


Senhora Do Monte

What used to be a secret is now the chosen place for couples to go enjoy their romance. There might be a little to many tuk tuks but the panoramic view over compensates that for sure.
